I’VE SEEN THE LIGHT
By: AJ Bigler
I’ve seen the end and it don’t come out good
I rode this train for as long as I could, ain’t no use in trying to get the changes I need from you
I Bought a map drew a route to LA, don’t want to hear a word you have to say
Don’t try and find me my numbers been changed and I’m riding in my new Chevrolet
Can’t you see?
I’ve seen the light, I’ve seen the light, the future looks bright and it’s shining on me
I’ve seen the light
You’ll get this letter long after I’m gone; all it will say is that I’m moving on
I’m too far way for you to talk back into the dark.
You’d say you love and you’d beg me to stay, I’d be alone the very next day
I saw the crack the door and the sun sure feels good on my face
I tried to talk, but you wouldn’t hear, so the thing for me to do is just disappear
I’ve seen the light.
